Standing Ovation is a pioneer in the field of precision fermentation, a cutting-edge technology that unlocks the production of alternative proteins with a low environmental impact. Standing Ovation champions this breakthrough technology and supports rapid market access for fermentation-enabled alternative proteins. Standing Ovation supports the streamlining of a regulatory framework for novel foods that is science-based and unbiased, in order to: • Provide a sustainable tool to address the global protein gap and help the EU secure its food supply, • Bring to the food industry a versatile technology offering new functionalities combined with solutions to lower the carbon footprint of their products, • Introduce European consumers to new food ingredients that can be made without animals, and without compromising on the safety, taste or nutritional qualities of their food.
