Mission & Goals
The Stadtwerke Köln Group (SWK) offers the 1.098 million citizens of Cologne and citizens in the surrounding region a decisive contribution to services of general interest as energy and water supply, public mobility, waste management and waste disposal, goods transport, telecommunications as well as sports and leisure. In the interest of the common good the Stadtwerke Köln Group provides these services in a sustainable and environment friendly manner to enhance the quality of life of the people and to ensure a functioning community in the city and in the region. Furthermore the public enterprise, fully owned by the city of Cologne, creates attractive framework conditions for the economy and the citizens of the city and the surrounding region. We and our group companies invest large sums of money in order to address the challenges of the future.
