Mission & Goals
SomeBuddy is an expert company founded in 2017 to prevent and solve bullying and harassment cases. We operate an online harassment emergency unit, staffed by legal and psychology experts specialized in the digital world, to provide timely and professional help for harassment or bullying. From the very beginning, SomeBuddy has been determined to build a scalable and ethical service model where expert support is enhanced with advanced technology. In June 2024 SomeBuddy was granted the status of Trusted Flagger under the Digital Services Act. Our core objectives are to ensure that victims of online harassment have access to their rights and can easily obtain the necessary support. We are also committed to ensure that the voices and experiences of children and young people affected by harassment and bullying are heard and understood. Ultimately, our overarching goal is to contribute to the creation of a safer online environment for all EU citizens.
