Mission & Goals
SocialTech Lab is a peace innovation NGO based in Nicosia, Cyprus—Europe’s last divided capital. For 9 years, we have empowered youth and other target groups in conflict-affected regions through technology, entrepreneurship, and sustainability, fostering social impact, economic resilience, and intercommunal cooperation. Our key initiatives include the UNDP Youth Innovation Factory Venture Builder, NEB Ignite + Grow Cyprus, the Urban Innovators Academy, as well as a portfolio of other national and regional accelerators and innovation programmes. Through our hub, which was recognized as a finalist for the New European Bauhaus Prizes 2025 – Champions under the category “Regaining a Sense of Belonging,” we train and incubate NEB-value-aligned impact startups. To date, we have supported 250+ startup teams, 6,800+ beneficiaries, and dispersed €100,000+ in funding.

Organisation Members
We are one organisation, SocialTech Lab, and do not have any official members (natural or legal persons). Our community consists of subscribers to our newsletter and to our online platform (https://cyprusinno.com/). We do, however, collaborate with various partners on specific programmes and projects. These partnerships are time-bound and project-based rather than permanent affiliations. A full overview of our projects and partners is available on our website: https://socialtechlab.org/. At present, we have no affiliated or connected entities beyond these partnerships.
