Mission & Goals
SEEFA is a private sector association supporting the growth of forestry in Ireland and representing the needs of the landowners, foresters and farmers who make it happen. We inform the public with balanced information, and we support Government bodies and decision makers with practical, on the ground insight and consultation. We promote forestry as a viable and beneficial land use, helping it deliver rural jobs, a secure timber supply, and Ireland’s climate and biodiversity targets, while protecting Irish heritage through woodlands and the public spaces that shape our landscapes.
