SoAlive Ltd. is dedicated to fostering international collaboration in the music industry by creating opportunities for networking, education, and cultural exchange. As the driving force behind the SoAlive Music Conference, the company serves as a bridge between the Balkans and the global music industry, advocating for emerging talent, industry development, and cross-border cooperation. Our mission is to: Support independent artists, music professionals, and cultural entrepreneurs in expanding their reach within the European and global markets. Facilitate knowledge-sharing on pressing industry topics, including digital transformation, music export strategies, and cultural policy. Advocate for fairer policies in the music sector, particularly in underrepresented regions such as Southeast Europe. Creative Europe & Music Moves Europe – Advocacy for sustained EU funding for music and cultural industries. EU Copyright Directive Implementation – Promoting fairer revenue distribution for artists and rightsholders. Digital Economy and Music Streaming Regulation – Addressing challenges in the streaming economy to ensure equitable remuneration for artists. Cross-border Collaboration and Mobility for Artists – Reducing barriers for international touring and participation in EU music markets. Communication Activities
Organizing SoAlive Music Conference annually in Sofia, Bulgaria, bringing together over 800 international delegates and key industry players. Facilitating workshops and roundtable discussions on music policy, copyright, and fair remuneration. Publishing reports and conducting regional studies on the music industry in Southeast Europe. Running advocacy campaigns for better funding structures and policy changes in the independent music sector.
