Mission & Goals
SKW Piesteritz is one of the EU’s largest producers of ammonia and urea, manufacturing specialised agrochemical and industrial chemical products, and one of the major producers of nitrogen fertilisers, supporting the European agriculture and food security. Our state-of-the-art production facilities enable us to consistently enhance products for our customers. Additionally, our research department is one of the largest among medium-sized chemical companies in Germany, recognised internationally at the highest level. SKW Piesteritz is deeply committed to accelerate the technological transformation of hydrogen-based production, while contributing towards the EU’s climate transition goals.
