Our goal is to create brighter future trough new technologies. Special attention is given to innovative approaches in order to achieve practical solutions. Mission of Simes is to provide top quality service with optimal response to clients requests, realization of added value for clients with constant improvement of our staff, enhancement of organization and application of quality management principles.Our method of work is highly participatory with clients, engineers and consultants who work together during the entire design process, from the beginning to the finalization and execution. Our main activities are: Renewable energy sources, Project design, development, management and maintenance, Electric power plants and installations, EMS, BMS & RMS, Low & Extra low voltage installations, HVAC systems
EU Legislative Interests
SIMES INŽENJERING has recently focused its interest representation activities on the following EU legislative proposals and policy initiatives: Directive (EU) 2018/844 amending the Energy Performance of Buildings Directive (EPBD) and the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED), as part of the EU's Clean Energy for All Europeans package. Proposal for a Regulation on the Energy Performance of Buildings (recast) – COM(2021) 802 final, as part of the European Green Deal and the Renovation Wave strategy. Regulation (EU) 2023/955 establishing a Social Climate Fund – relevant for projects aiming at improving energy efficiency and reducing energy poverty through targeted investments in infrastructure. EU Taxonomy Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2020/852) – especially in relation to sustainable construction and environmentally sustainable economic activities. Fit for 55 Package – in particular elements related to building renovation, energy efficiency in SMEs, and low-carbon technologies in the construction sector. These policies are relevant to the company’s work in engineering and infrastructure projects focused on sustainable construction, energy efficiency, and the implementation of smart technologies in building and energy systems.
Communication Activities
SIMES INŽENJERING has not yet established direct contacts with EU institutions but has followed relevant EU policy developments through participation in regional information events, webinars, and public consultations related to energy efficiency and sustainable construction. The company also engages in the dissemination of EU policy updates and funding opportunities to local partners and stakeholders in Montenegro, particularly in the context of the Green Agenda for the Western Balkans and pre-accession assistance programs (IPA). SIMES INŽENJERING plans to participate in the Call for expressions of interest from EU/EEA/Western Balkans-based businesses to invest in the Western Balkans, and is applying for obtaining Transparency Register Number for that purpose.
