Mission & Goals

Silicon Saxony ist mit über 650 Mitgliedern das größte Mikroelektronik-Cluster in der EU. Es verbindet Hersteller, Zulieferer, Dienstleister, Hochschulen/Universitäten, Forschungsinstitute, öffentliche Einrichtungen und Startups im Bereich der Mikroelektronik. Der thematische Fokus liegt auf den technologischen Trends der Gegenwart und Zukunft – z.B. KI, Robotik, Automatisierung, IoT, Sensorik, Energieeffizienz, Neuromorphes bzw. Edge Computing. With more than 650 members, Silicon Saxony is the largest microelectronics cluster in the EU. It connects manufacturers, suppliers, service providers, colleges/universities, research institutes, public institutions and start-ups in the field of microelectronics. The thematic focus is on the technological trends of the present and future - e.g. AI, robotics, automation, IoT, sensor technology, energy efficiency, neuromorphic and edge computing.
