Mission & Goals
Shiwar Organization is a non-governmental organization dedicated to promoting and protecting the rights of Baluch women and children, with a particular focus on education and empowerment. The organization operates through several specialized departments, one of its key sections being the documentation and publication of human rights violations against the Baluch people, and the presentation of these data and reports to the international community. Shiwar Organization also aims to advocate for the fundamental rights of the Baluch people as a whole, with particular emphasis on the rights of Baluch women, and to raise awareness at national and international levels.
EU Legislative Interests
European Parliament Resolution on the EU Biodiversity Strategy EU human rights policy, including the protection and promotion of women’s and children’s rights, minority rights (with particular focus on the Baluch people), freedom of expression and media freedom, and the support and protection of civil society actors at national and international levels.
Communication Activities
Shiwar Organization carries out multiple community-based activities aligned with EU human rights, gender equality, and women’s empowerment policies. These include: 1. Events: Community workshops, dialogue sessions, and panel discussions to raise awareness about women’s rights and legal protections. 2. Campaigns: Local awareness campaigns promoting gender equality, protection from violence, and civic participation, inspired by EU policy frameworks. 3. Publications: Development and dissemination of brochures, leaflets, social media posts, and short articles in local languages to educate communities on EU-aligned human rights principles. These activities aim to empower women, raise awareness of legal rights, and encourage community engagement, fully in line with EU objectives on gender equality and human rights.
