Mission & Goals
As a European company, SES is one of the world's leading commercial satellite operators. SES provides services in Europe, North America and the rest of the world, using multi-orbit satellite fleets. SES owns and operates a global fleet of more than 100 GSO satellites and nearly 30 MEO satellites (January 2026) which together cover an area that is home to 99% of the world’s population. The company enables the distribution of TV and video services worldwide. SES also provides satellite connectivity solutions to corporations and telecoms operators, aeronautical and maritime players as well as government agencies and institutional customers. Furthermore, SES operates a network of satellite earth stations in many countries, to connect with and control the satellites.
