Mission & Goals
The General Secretariat of the “Service Exporters’ Association” was established with its headquarters in Istanbul, with the Ministry of Commerce’s Communiqué on Exports No. 2018/3 published in the Official Gazette dated 18.02.2021 and numbered 31399. With the sector committees operating under the General Secretariat of the “Service Exporters Association”, it works on creating a service export strategy, identifying sectoral problems and offering solutions to these problems, and similar issues. While determining the sectoral strategies for service export in workshops and trainings to be held with the participation of our members, it is aimed that our member companies find contacts and gain experience in the international market with trade-buying committees, fairs and various organizations, which are among the leading activities of market entry practices.
EU Legislative Interests
The organisation is mainly interested in EU policies and legislative initiatives related to services exports, including trade in services agreements, digital single market, recognition of professional qualifications, and sectoral policies affecting transport, logistics, ICT and tourism services.
Communication Activities
In order to strengthen commercial relations with the European Union and its member states, our institution regularly carries out a wide range of communication and promotional activities. These include the organization of national pavilions at international fairs, the coordination of trade delegations, and the facilitation of official visits for both public and private sector stakeholders. Through these initiatives, we aim to enhance visibility, foster partnerships, and create new business opportunities for service exporters while contributing to the overall development of EU–Türkiye trade relations.

Our members are organised under sectoral committees representing various fields of services exports. Additional Information
The organisation does not receive any EU grants contributing to its operating costs. Activities are financed through national resources and membership contributions. No dedicated EU-funded budget is allocated for interest representation activities. The organisation does not employ full-time staff exclusively for these activities; responsibilities are carried out on a part-time basis by existing employees with limited related costs. Therefore, the estimated annual costs are relatively low.
