Mission & Goals
Sedex has over 20 years’ expertise and provides supply chain solutions for all businesses, including SMETA, our world-leading social audit. Our community comprises over 90,000 businesses and 115,000 supply chain sites of employment/work, across 180 countries and 35 sectors globally. Our customers use Sedex to identify, assess and prioritise environmental and social risks and impacts more effectively in their supply chains. Our assessment tools, data exchange Platform and professional services facilitate visibility and transparency between businesses in a supply chain to enable identification, decision-making and collaborative resolution.

Communication Activities
Sedex may engage in the following activities: - Written submissions to public consultations. - Meetings with members of parliament, officials, and relevant governmental bodies - Participation in EU events, workshops, and stakeholder forums. - Publication of policy briefings, white papers, and collaborative roundtables. - Convening Sedex customers in a Policy Taskforce with the aim of engaging in EU policy discussions is to transparently represent the interests of its platform and user community regarding corporate sustainability, digital data governance, and supply chain due diligence. The aim is to constructively contribute to the development and implementation of EU regulatory frameworks by sharing practical insights.
