Mission & Goals
Seas At Risk is an association of environmental organisations from across Europe, working together to ensure that life in our seas and oceans is abundant, diverse, climate resilient, and not threatened by human activities. Its mission is to promote ambitious policies for marine protection at European and international level. With over 30 members representing the majority of European countries, Seas At Risk speaks for millions of citizens that care deeply about the health and well-being of seas and oceans.

Communication Activities
Seas At Risk hosts workshops, seminars and conferences for its members and/or other NGOs and policy makers on matters of EU interest throughout the year. In 2020, we hosted an "Ocean Action Conference" to raise marine issues and promote the Blue manifesto - the roadmap to a healthy ocean in 2030 to policy makers and stakeholders. When relevant, public petitions on various matters, including bottom trawling and dolphin bycatch. 6 newsletters a year with updates on its activities and EU policy developments. Seas At Risk produces information leaflets, reports, videos on EU policy areas.
