Science|Business is a media and communications company focused on research and innovation in Europe. Its activities include: 1. The Science|Business Network contributes to the debate for Europe’s research and innovation policy through original thought leadership, research, workshops and conferences. It links leading European technology universities, multinationals and public-sector organisations - bringing together industry, research and policy. Science|Business publishes an open access online news service focused on EU research and innovation with 25,000 newsletter registrants and nearly 1 million online visitors in 2025. Communication Activities
Science|Business events and reports often provide a platform for members and clients to present their views on EU and member state innovation policies, as well as opportunities to network and gather information. This can include efforts by members or sponsors to indirectly influence the EU policy making process, as with any media company's conferences or publications. In this sense, Science|Business joins the Transparency Register as an "interest-related media or research organisation linked to private profit-making interests", due to the private-sector companies among its members, and as described in the Transparency Register Implementing Guidelines. Our goal is to improve the climate for research and innovation through better communications among all parties, private and public.
