Activities target EU opportunities that support deployment of EV charging solutions, mobile water treatment technologies, green transition investments, and cross-border commercial cooperation. San Martin Worldwide aims to align its projects with EU sustainability standards, climate goals, and innovation strategies, while contributing to consultations, events and meetings relevant to green infrastructure and international business growth.
Communication Activities
San Martin Worldwide has carried out communication and awareness projects in the fields of sustainability, environmental awareness, circular economy, water management, behavioural change and environment-focused design. The following works represent activities that are thematically aligned with the EU’s priorities on environment, climate, sustainability and public awareness. ⸻ 1. Municipality-Based Sustainability and Circular Economy Projects – Istanbul Şişli Municipality • “Komşu Kart” Circular Economy Program – Public Communication Materials (2021) I contributed to the development of public information materials and awareness content for this municipal circular economy initiative in which households earn digital rewards for delivering recyclable waste. This content directly relates to EU waste separation and local circular economy priorities. • Recycling and Waste-Separation Awareness Work I supported communication materials explaining proper waste separation and the environmental benefits of recycling. • National Zero Waste Initiative – Communication Support I contributed to sustainability-focused public messages promoting responsible consumption and environmental awareness. ⸻ 2. Academic Environmental Awareness and Youth Projects • Istanbul Nişantaşı University – Environmental Awareness Project (2022–2024) I worked with students on a public-benefit environmental awareness project prepared for submission to TÜBİTAK. The project involved sustainability-focused educational content and promoted youth engagement in environmental topics. • Istanbul Yeni Yüzyıl University – Package Design Exhibition (2021) I organised an exhibition featuring packaging designs created from recyclable materials, encouraging material reuse and public understanding of circular economy principles. ⸻ 3. Publication Contribution – Water Awareness and Education • “Bir Damla Su” – Water Awareness Educational Book I contributed creative content to an environmental and water awareness book distributed to school libraries across Türkiye. It promotes water conservation, environmental responsibility and sustainable habits among children. ⸻ 4. Recent International Sustainability and Economic Events (2024–2025) These meet the Transparency Register requirement for recent communication-relevant activities. • XVIII Verona Eurasian Economic Forum – 2025 Followed sessions related to sustainable development, energy transition and international cooperation. • Abu Dhabi Investment & Development Roadshow – 2025 Attended discussions on green infrastructure investments and climate-resilient urban development. • UN Global Compact Türkiye Summit – 2025 Participated in sessions on ESG principles, corporate sustainability and EU-related sustainability frameworks. ⸻ General Assessment All activities were carried out solely for public awareness and sustainability education. None of these works involve political influence, lobbying or interest-based advocacy. They serve environmental awareness, public benefit communication, behaviour change and sustainable lifestyle promotion in line with EU priorities.
