Mission & Goals

Saltfoss develops and markets advanced small nuclear reactors.

EU Legislative Interests

We are meeting with representatives of the Commission with an open agenda for mutual learning and overall interest in nuclear in the EU. We want to better understand the plans and structure in the EU system. In response to request from the Secretariat of the Transparency Register we have looked for EU legislative proposals or policies that may be within our sphere of interest, and that our opinion may be qualified to opinion on. These are: European Industrial Alliance on SMRs, Net‑Zero Industry Act (NZIA), and Proposal for a dedicated SMR licensing framework.

Saltfoss Energy ApS largest investor is Seasalt Group ApS with Brightfolk A/S, Newclear Holding ApS and ECCA Holding Group Ltd each holding more than 5% ownership. Saltfoss has a strategic collaboration with Samsung heavy industry related to shipyard manufacturing, with Korea Hydro and Nuclear Power related to nuclear operation, and with Kepco Nuclear Fuel related to nuclear fuel development.
