Mission & Goals
SafeHabitus is a multi-actor project that aims to strengthen Farm Health and Safety Knowledge Innovation Systems (FHS KIS) and support the EU transition to social sustainability in farming. Through novel methods and a collaborative approach, the project aims to advance safer practices on farms across the EU.
EU Legislative Interests
All aspects of occupational safety and health, working conditions, social and public health related to the EU farm workforce (workers, employers, self-employed and family members, etc.) covered by EU policies, stretching over the agriculture, employment and health policy areas.
Communication Activities
Previous policy activities include policy seminars on mental health in farming, working conditions of migrant and seasonal workers. Future activities will include all social and working conditions issues related to farming.
