Mission & Goals
We bring together Russian activists who uphold democratic values in the UK and their allies. Our goal is to advocate for human rights, peace, and social justice, and to provide support and humanitarian aid to those impacted by war and repression. Building social active community ● Human rights activism and advocacy ● Educational & Art events ● Humanitarian Aid ● Information for UK and EU society & policy makers on Russian political situation ● Informing the government, collating comprehensive and inclusive reports ● Engaging in diverse modifications to visa legislation (students, academics, humanitarian visas) ● Acting as an intermediary between different Russian opposition figures, parliament, and the media

Advocacy for Political Freedoms and Human Rights EU Global Human Rights Sanctions Regime (EU Magnitsky Act): Advocate for stronger implementation mechanisms and expanded scope to target human rights violators. Action Plan on Human Rights and Democracy (2020-2024): Focus on its operational aspects, specifically protections for political prisoners and civil society activists. European Instrument for Democracy and Human Rights (EIDHR): Advocate for increased funding and resources directed at NGOs supporting dissidents and activists in authoritarian states. Visa and Refugee Support for Russian Emigrants Temporary Protection Directive (2001/55/EC): Promote the inclusion of Russian-speaking refugees fleeing persecution under its scope. Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF): Advocate for targeted funding to address the specific needs of Russian-speaking refugees within EU member states. Sanctions and Economic Pressure Council Decision concerning Restrictive Measures in View of Russia’s Actions Destabilising Ukraine: Push for expanded sanctions lists targeting individuals and entities linked to the Russian regime. Anti-Money Laundering Directive (AMLD): Advocate for measures to improve enforcement against sanctions evasion and financial transparency. Directive on the Freezing and Confiscation of Proceeds of Crime in the EU (2014/42/EU): Promote amendments enabling the transfer of seized assets for humanitarian and reconstruction efforts in Ukraine. Strengthening Civil Society Initiatives Citizens, Equality, Rights, and Values Programme (CERV): Advocate for increased support for grassroots organisations and funding streams for pro-democracy initiatives. Neighbourhood, Development, and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI): Support allocation of resources for training and capacity-building programs targeting Russian civil society groups. Post-Conflict Reconstruction and Support for Ukraine Ukraine Facility (2023 Proposal): Advocate for the inclusion of funds sourced from seized Russian assets. EU Civil Protection Mechanism (UCPM): Encourage further integration of support for humanitarian aid and infrastructure rebuilding efforts in Ukraine. Cultural and Educational Outreach Creative Europe Programme: Focus on promoting democratic values through cultural exchanges and media literacy initiatives. Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027): Advocate for the inclusion of modules countering disinformation and fostering democratic awareness. Security and Regional Stability Cybersecurity Strategy for the Digital Decade: Advocate for stronger measures against state-sponsored cyberattacks. Strategic Compass for Security and Defence (2022): Support integration of counter-disinformation strategies to combat propaganda. EU Code of Practice on Disinformation: Push for stricter monitoring and enforcement to counter malign foreign influence campaigns.
