Mission & Goals
Our petrochemicals division is the only polypropylene and polyethylene producer in Romania and a key supplier to the regional market, with a total annual capacity of 225,000 MT of polymers, as follows: Polypropylene plant 90,000 MT/year, LDPE plant 75,000 MT/year and HDPE plant 60,000 MT/year. Our company plays a vital role in: • The European polyolefin value chain, serving the automotive, packaging, construction, and consumer goods sectors. • Reducing external dependencies, by ensuring local production of polymer raw materials.
EU Legislative Interests
Our organisation monitors the following EU legislative files and policy initiatives: REACH Regulation (EC 1907/2006) Packaging and packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR) Single-Use Plastics Directive We express our official interest to participate in the EU Critical Chemical Alliance, a strategic initiative of the European Commission aimed at strengthening industrial value chains and securing the supply of essential chemicals and materials.
