Mission & Goals

Al-Haq Europe is an independent human rights organisation based in Brussels that seeks to promote the human rights of the Palestinian people through legal research, strategic litigation and advocacy, with a focus on influencing duty bearers, stakeholders, including policy-makers, civil society across Europe and the European union (EU), and by working in coordination with relevant Palestinian and European civil society. Al-Haq Europe strives to advocate for the effective implementation of international law, human rights, and relevant domestic and regional laws, thereby contributing to the global efforts in the fight against impunity. Al-Haq Europe seeks to hold to account perpetrators of human rights violations, grave breaches and international crimes against the Palestinian people through relevant domestic, regional and international mechanisms.
