Mission & Goals
Preventing and combating cyber-violence and online hate speech through education, dissemination of good practices, legal support for victims and the provision of peaceful means of communication and positive tools for all actors (Internet users, platforms, public authorities). Respect Zone promotes a positive "respect by design" approach to platforms and to any structure or organisation with interactive digital spaces. - Intervention and training in schools, universities and companies. - Creation of online moderation training tools - Orientation and legal support for people exposed to cyberviolence - Advocacy activities for a better accountability of platforms and Internet users - Communication to the general public for educational and awareness-raising purposes - Production of analysis and reports for public or political authorities - Raise awareness of the legal professions on cyber violence (partnerships with the Paris Bar, the National Council of Bars, ECLA...)
