Mission & Goals
Research Advisors & Experts Europe (RAEE) was founded in 2003. It was created to ensure that justice, equality and accountability are always key cornerstones in the pursuit of international relations. Emphasis is given to Europe’s role towards the rest of the world recognizing the core principles enshrined in the EU’s Treaties to promote democratic governance and accountability, adhere to the rule of law including human rights obligations, and enable societies and their people to live in dignity free from discrimination of any kind. RAEE has advised international, governmental, non-governmental and private sector organizations on issues of development, justice and human rights, peace and conflict. These issues include health, education, child labour and forced labour, human rights, gender equality and peace-building.

Communication Activities
Digital Interoperability in Health Data Exchange in Africa: Collaborative efforts with EU institutions are focused on advancing digital interoperability in health data systems in Africa. The engagement emphasizes addressing the challenges and opportunities in health data exchange to improve healthcare delivery and outcomes. This involves participation in dialogues and joint initiatives to develop and implement standards and guidelines for health data interoperability, fostering better healthcare coordination and preparedness across the continent. Representation of NGOs for Haiti: Advocacy efforts on behalf of NGOs working in Haiti aim to highlight the country's needs and advocate for increased support from the EU. The focus is on raising awareness about the humanitarian situation in Haiti and the importance of sustained aid. Engaging in discussions and consultations with EU policymakers helps influence aid policies and strategies, ensuring that the voices and needs of Haiti are represented in EU decision-making processes. European Policy and Global Health Strategy: Contributions to policy discussions and consultations emphasize the importance of a global health strategy within the EU framework. The engagement focuses on the need for a coherent and comprehensive approach to global health challenges. Participation in policy forums and working groups allows for the provision of insights and recommendations, helping to shape EU policies that address global health concerns effectively. Research on Migration and Migration Routes: Sharing research findings on migration patterns and routes from the Horn of Africa to Europe with EU stakeholders informs EU migration policies and strategies. The focus is on providing evidence-based insights to support informed decision-making. Presenting research at relevant forums and engaging in discussions with policymakers and researchers ensures that the complexities and realities of migration are understood and addressed in EU policy development. Project Management: Managing projects in collaboration with EU institutions ensures effective implementation and outcomes. The focus is on achieving project objectives and efficiently using resources. Regular communication and coordination with EU project partners and stakeholders are essential for monitoring progress and addressing challenges, ensuring that projects align with EU standards and deliver the intended benefits.
