Mission & Goals
OUR MISSION is to achieve a world built on renewable energy by uniting diverse stakeholders and creating the momentum for the necessary rapid, lasting change. WHAT WE DO is to provide knowledge about what is happening in the renewable energy sector and how the latest trends will impact future developments. We offer an open forum to discuss how to make the renewable energy future happen across sectors and disciplines. Our activities are clustered under two main blocks: 1. Knowledge: Reports on developments worldwide: Renewables Global Status Report and Global Futures Report Reports with special focus: Renewables in Cities Global Status Report, Regional Status Reports, and Thematic Reports Collecting and sharing case studies/stories from across the globe which demonstrate that the transition to renewable energy is a reality 2. EU Legislative Interests
REN21 is involved in numerous EU-relevant activities through the production and circulation of the Renewables Global Status Report (yearly), the Renewable Energy and Sustainability Report, the Renewables in Cities Global Status Report as well as the organisation of the International Renewable Energy Conferences (IREC) and the REN21 Academy.
