Mission & Goals
The REA represents renewable energy producers and promotes the use of all forms of renewable energy and associated clean technologies (eg energy storage, EV charging and recycling) in the UK. The REA covers the full spectrum of renewable energy technologies across power, heat, transport, renewable gas, organics recycling, electric vehicle, and energy storage.
EU Legislative Interests
Biofuels and indirect land use change, Renewable Energy Sources Directive, 2030 climate change package, EU ETS, waste framework directive, possible application of EU-wide controls to compost and digestate from anaerobic digestion, circular economy, Energy Union, Electric Vehicles, Energy storage, Energy and Climate change legislation and regulation, sustainable packaging & plastics. Green economic recovery, hydrogen strategy, all forms fo renewable energy.
