Mission & Goals
REN aims to guarantee uninterrupted supply of electricity and natural gas at the lowest cost, meeting quality and safety criteria, maintaining the balance between supply and demand in real time, ensuring the legitimate interests of market participants and combining the missions of system operator and network operator assigned to it (electricity transmission, natural gas transmission, future national hydrogen infrastructure on an interim basis and natural gas distribution), as well as the reception, storage and regasification of liquefied natural gas and the underground storage of natural gas.
