Mission & Goals
L’association s’emploie à œuvrer à la mise en place d’un système financier et économique orienté vers la satisfaction des besoins humains fondamentaux de tous et la sauvegarde de l’environnement et de la biodiversité, dans un contexte d’urgence climatique. L’association encourage notamment: - la modification des pratiques des acteurs financiers dans le sens d'une plus grande solidarité et d'une prise en compte de l'environnement et des impératifs liés à l’urgence climatique ; - l’émergence d’alternatives économiques et financières résilientes dans un contexte d’urgence climatique ; - la participation des citoyen-ne-s aux décisions économiques et financiers.
EU Legislative Interests
1) Sustainable Finance Strategy: - Directive on due diligence (CSDDD) and its amendments within the OMNIBUS I law - Non-financial reporting (CSRD) - Taxonomies (EU Sustainable Taxonomy and others) - Capital requirements (CRR/CRD and Solvency) - Role of national financial regulators - EU Ecolabel and Green Bond Standard - ESG products, rules, and standards - Savings and investments union 2) Monetary and prudential policy (ECB and European financial regulators). 3) Beyond the proposals mentioned above, any other regulation related to transition plans, the financing of fossil fuel production and/or coal consumption
Communication Activities
1) Publication of reports and research. 2) Advocacy toward MEPs and EU institutions - including through open letters. 3) Contact with the press on legislation and regulation changes. 4) Social media campaigns - including through petitions, online mobilization tools and targeted advertisement. 5) Publication of platforms in European outlets.
