Mission & Goals
Rail Europe was founded more than 90 years ago by SNCF/French State Railways as an international rail ticket retailer. The company now operates a sophisticated digital platform worldwide to sell tickets for all major European railway companies direct to travellers and the global travel trade. The company's mission is: a) to provide easy access to railway bookings across Europe by reducing friction and hurdles in the booking process; b) to "export" European railways' services especially to overseas markets on a global scale c) and thereby generate incremental growth and revenue for operators d) and promote sustainable transport for leisure and business purposes, and support the modal shift from air/road to rail.
