Mission & Goals
RAI is the exclusive concessionaire of the radio, television and multimedia Public Service, consisting in the production and broadcasting on all platforms of audiovisual and multimedia content for complete and impartial information, to foster education, civil growth, progress and social cohesion, promote the Italian language, culture and creativity, safeguard national identity and ensure social benefits. Rai has the widest offer on DTT, with 14 national channels (3 generalist AND 11 semi-generalist). The radio offer is divided into 12 channels on 8 platforms, all also online and on social media, of which 3 generalist, 2 thematic and 7 digital. Finally there is Raiplay, the digital platform rich in content, Rai.it the portal, divided into News, Sport, TV, Radio and Corporate; RaiPlayRadio.it;Rainews.it/TgR web dedicated to information, RaiPlay Yoyo - the app dedicated to children without advertising and Rai Cultura.
