Mission & Goals
Qvantums vision: We enable the many people with thin wallets to live a life without dependencies on fossil fuels. Consequently, Qvantum provides cost optimised heat pump solutions for residential and commercial application with a special focus on products that help cities transition to sustainability. In order to make the use of heat pumps accessible in existing buildings, Qvantums technology uses local, ambient loops as thermal battery. Qvantums heat pumps provide flexibility and stabilisation services to the electric grid, hence contributing to its stability and increasing the utilisation factor of renewable electricity generation assets.
EU Legislative Interests
- Promote the electrification of Europes heating and cooling sector. - Establish technology clarity on the benefits of heat pumps. - Establish an understanding for low temperate (ambient) thermal loop and its recognition as energy source and sink in the EUs energy and climate legislation.
Communication Activities
Qvantum intends to contribute to the EU energy and climate policy through parliamentary debates, direct personal exchange, participation in EU fora and events. Qvantum will provide conceptual documents on heat pumps using thermal grids as energy source and sink as well as on the benefits of heat pump deployment more stable power grids.
