PTV technology makes mobility more efficient, safer and better for the environment. We help cities, companies and people save time and money. Be it optimising routes, simulating virtual scenarios, modelling city networks or predicting traffic flow. PTV is a software company for transport and traffic, a global player, actively shaping the market with our solutions, based on customer feedback, continuous observation of the market as well as knowledge gained from research, and we promote creativity and technical innovation. We are shaping smart, sustainable and safe transportation and mobility for a smarter and cleaner future.

Only indirectly: the results of studies involving simulations can be the basis for policy and regulations (e.g. the Lisbon and Oslo studies, on e.g. Mobility as a Service, Automated vehicles, Curbside Management, Floating Bike Schemes, eScooters, Flying Taxis, etc.).

Communication Activities

TRIMODE - PTV software is used to develop the European intermodal transport model, which encompasses all passenger transport and freight movements in Europe. PTV also has national models of e.g. Germany and France. Other national and EU related research projects run from HQ: EDDA+, FENIX, FAME, Augmented CCAM, UPPER, EMERALDS, ZEFES, ReMuNet,TEMPUS, ModelRad, Hi-Drive, EiFa.
