We have completed this registration as a requirement to hold meetings with representatives of DG MOVE, DG INTPA, DG ENERGY, and the European Investment Bank. In this specific interaction, we will not make proposals regarding policies or any other form of regulation We plan to hold meetings on 4 and 5 December with representatives of the European Comission to present the hydrogen development strategy of Port of Açu (Brazil) and explore cooperation opportunities with European ports to advance industrial decarbonisation and establish green corridors between Brazil and Europe. These meetings are supported by Maria Assumpció Rojo Torrent, Director of International Advocacy at Hydrogen Europe, in alignment with Port of Antwerp-Bruges (Lieselot Marinus), our partner and joint shareholder in Port of Açu, the largest private port in Brazil. The agenda includes interactions with representatives of DG MOVE, DG INTPA, the International Unit of DG ENERGY, and the European Investment Bank. Discussions will focus on perspectives for industrial and logistics decarbonisation, integration of green hydrogen and sustainable fuels into port ecosystems, and collaboration under EU initiatives. Recently, in partnership with the Global Maritime Forum (GMF), the Rocky Mountain Institute (RMI), and Port of Antwerp-Bruges, we published a feasibility study on establishing a green corridor between Brazil and Europe, followed by a Letter of Intent signed between Port of Açu and Port of Antwerp-Bruges to proceed with the structuring of this green corridor.
