Mission & Goals
Proton Cable LLC was established in 2010 in the city of Prizren and produces different low voltage electrical wires and cables (inl. halogen free) used in industrial, commercial and residential premises. The company is a family business, owned and run by three young Kosovars. The company currently employs ca. 50 people and produces over 180 wiring and cable products. Proton Cable is equipped with all relevant international standards for exporting in the Europen Union. In 2018 the company invested in the factory for processing copper wire with the latest technology and in2020 within a EU-granting programme the company started producing in house sheething compound. The company has a production capacity of 800 tons per year and is equipped with state-of-the-art production lines while all products are strictly self-audited by the quality control lab to ensure a continous stream of high quality products to the local and international markets.

Participation in the call for expressions of interest from EU/EEA/Western Balkans-based businesses to invest in the Western Balkans announced at the Adria Summit, in Tivat, Montenegro, on 09/04/2025 (https://enlargement.ec.europa.eu/enlargement-policy/enhanced-eu-engagement-western-balkans/publication-call-expressions-interest-eueeawestern-balkans-based-businesses-invest-western-balkans_en#express-interest). The targeted measures of the company includes promotion EU Agenda's on green transition,integration into the industrial supply chains/manufacturing and sustainable transport.
