Mission & Goals
Our organisation is an international expert initiative established in 2018 and aimed at detecting, analysing and countering hybrid threats against democracy, rule of law and sovereignty of states in Western, Central, and Eastern Europe and Eurasia. The initiative's attention is focused on hostile networks of influence, using hybrid tools, fake public initiatives and corrupt political figures, serving foreign interests, disinformation and propaganda, networks of hate groups, complemented by the export of corruption instruments, economic penetration, various covert operations, and military threats.
EU Legislative Interests
Our organisation focuses its interest representation activities on EU policies related to democracy protection, countering foreign interference, media freedom, human rights, and the rule of law. Most recently, this includes the EU Action Plan Against Disinformation, the EU Global Human Rights Sanctions Regime (Regulation (EU) 2020/1998), and Council Regulations concerning restrictive measures against Belarus and the Russian Federation, Council Regulation (EU) No 765/2006 concerning restrictive measures in view of the situation in Belarus and the involvement of Belarus in the Russian aggression against Ukraine, Council Decision 2012/642/CFSP concerning restrictive measures against Belarus, Council Regulation (EU) No 269/2014 concerning restrictive measures in respect of actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine (including application to Belarus-related cases).
Communication Activities
Our communication activities include the publication of analytical reports and policy briefs; Expert submissions to EU institutions; Participation in hearings, conferences and closed briefings; Cooperation with EU-funded platforms; Regular outreach to EU officials on issues related to media freedom, disinformation, digital security, human rights violations, and EU restrictive measures.
