Mission & Goals
FERRMED's goals are to offer an optimization in the European railways in order to improve the freight transport. This will be made through the use of the different mains of transport becoming a multimodal freight transport, introducing this concept of combined transport.
EU Legislative Interests
Our proposal for the EU is related to: -Logistics in the EU and multimodal transport in the new TEN-T corridors -Freight transport in Europe -Marco Polo II programme: financial assistance to improve the environmental performance of the freight transport system -European strategy for low-emission mobility -Sustainable European transport policy, taking into account European energy and environment policies -Military mobility -Electronic freight transport information -Revision of the Trans-European Transport Network (TEN-T) guidelines -Roadmap to a Single European Transport Area – Towards a competitive and resource efficient transport system

Additional Information
Most of workers are Civil Engineers retired working without salary. The first one is the President M. Joan AMOROS 88 years old who was to his retirement in 2002 one of the four Vicepresidents of NISSAN Motor Company in Europe.
