Mission & Goals
I am an expert and researcher based in Portugal, with a mission to promote children's rights in the digital environment through education, research, and public engagement. My work focuses on children's digital lives, media education, and digital citizenship, informed by an ethics of care and the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child and General Comment n.º 25 on children's digital rights. I operate at European, national and regional levels, engaging in public consultations, academic collaboration, and civic initiatives related to children's digital wellbeing and rights.

Communication Activities
The SecGen horizontal rules for the establishment of expert groups, which DG CNECT is obliged to implement, formally impose registration in the Transparency Register for both individuals applying to represent a common interest and organisations. This is standard language that is also reflected in section 2.2. of the expert group call for expert, under Appointment: “Registration in the Transparency Register is required in order for individuals representing a common interest or organisations to be appointed.”
