Additional Information

In 2024, our Association received a “5x1000” contribution amounting to €378,926.67. The “5 per thousand” ("5x1000") is credited by the Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate) to the respective non-profit entities. It does not represent an individual contribution but derives from the collective choices made by taxpayers in support of a particular association (it is the aggregate result of small donations deriving from a portion of the taxable income of thousands of taxpayers). In particular, in Italy, the 2006 Finance Act ("Legge finanziaria", Law No. 266 of December 23, 2005, Article 1, paragraphs 337 and following) introduced the possibility for taxpayers to allocate five per thousand of their IRPEF income tax to certain non-profit organizations. “5x1000” funds are not considered public funds (see Constitutional Court ruling No. 202/2007; Court of Cassation, United Sections, ruling No. 24964/2017), as they constitute a charitable donation made by taxpayers. Associations do not have access to information about the identities of the taxpayers who choose to support them in this way, nor do they know the amount of each individual contribution. The financial statements of Pro Vita & Famiglia Onlus are publicly available at the following hyperlink: https://www.provitaefamiglia.it/trasparenza.
