Mission & Goals
PREPARE – Partnership for Rural Europe is a pan-European network that strengthens civil society and promotes sustainable, inclusive rural development. It unites national rural platforms and local development organisations across Europe, with a focus on empowering rural communities through networking, capacity building, and advocacy. PREPARE facilitates dialogue between grassroots actors and public authorities, supports community-led initiatives, and promotes participatory democracy in rural policymaking. Its mission is to ensure that rural people have a voice in shaping the future of their territories, especially in the context of EU rural policy and programmes.
