Mission & Goals
POSCO aims to actively participate in the policy-making process of the EU as a third country operator, with the goal of making meaningful contributions.
EU Legislative Interests
POSCO, a leading steel manufacturer and exporter headquartered in South Korea, closely monitors policies that could potentially affect our business within the European Union (EU). One policy of particular interest to us is the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism, and we would like to share our perspectives on this policy. Furthermore, we are also interested in engaging with EU trade policies related to trade defense measures, including safeguards on steel products.In addition to the aforementioned policies, we are open to making contributions to the EU's policy-making processes in any areas that may have an impact on our business.
