Mission & Goals
Polska Organizacja Ratownicza (Polish Rescue Organisation) is a non-profit foundation working to improve societal resilience, public safety and rescue capabilities in Poland and internationally through technical and educational projects. The foundation provides first aid education for children, youth and adults, supports rescue training events and exercises, and delivers technical and organisational support for emergency response initiatives. POR engages in humanitarian assistance, including medical supply and equipment deliveries to Ukraine. The foundation also funds the deployment of life-saving infrastructure in public spaces, including automated external defibrillators and environmental monitoring systems, and delivers the "Ratownik" mobile app. POR engages with European Union institutions on policies related to urban civil protection, CBRN preparedness, and the integration of public safety infrastructure into EU resilience frameworks. Active at national and European level.

Communication Activities

The figures are based on POR's audited financial statements for the fiscal year ended 31 December 2024, as filed with the Polish tax authority (Krajowa Administracja Skarbowa). POR's statutory revenue for FY2024 was PLN 305,000 (approximately EUR 71,340), consisting entirely of grants and donations received for non-commercial public benefit activities. Expenditure for the same period was PLN 398,894 (approximately EUR 93,300). The organisation does not represent commercial interests. Amounts converted at the ECB reference rate of 31.12.2024.
