Mission & Goals
The New Mobility Association (PSNM - Polskie Stowarzyszenie Nowej Mobilności) is one of the largest industry organizations in Europe, representing companies and entities from the entire value chain of electromobility. The Association's goal is to develop the market, as well as to promote and raise public awareness regarding the challenge of the decarbonization of the road transport and development of zero emission technologies. PSNM also provides the opportunity for Polish and foreign companies to join efforts in building the electromobility and zero emission mobility market in Poland and the Central-Eastern European (CEE) region. PSNM develops and implements substantive reports, studies, analyses, advocacy positions and organizes industry events and workshops, the Organization also provides training and consulting for private and public entities in regard to the key substantive knowledge on electromobility and zero emission transport technologies.
EU Legislative Interests
The New Mobility Association (PSNM - Polskie Stowarzyszenie Nowej Mobilności) is involved and aims at contributing to the following areas of EU legislation and policy: - The European Green Deal - PSNM aims at developing the zero emission, electric road transport in Poland and the CEE region, hence it is crucial for the organization to take up advocacy work in order to represent the electromobility sector in Poland in the process of shaping the policies related to implementing the European Geen Deal. - Fit for 55 legislation package - PSNM aims at developing the zero emission, electric road transport in Poland and the CEE region, hence it is crucial for the organization to take up advocacy work in order to represent the electromobility sector in Poland in the process of shaping the policies related to implementing the legislation acts proposed within the Fit for 55 proposal. This pertains especially to the Regulation on the deployment of the alternative fuels' infrastructure, but also to other acts regulating building energy efficiency. - Battery regulations - as a representative of the Polish market, now hosting the largest manufacturing site in the EU and one of the largest in the world, PSNM focuses on developing this market, with efforts aligned with the Association's goals. Furthermore, PSNM aims at developing the R&D and innovative thought in Poland, to make the market a battery competence hub, hence PSNM contributions to the legislation and policy on this topic are crucial for PSNM's Members. - Electromobility - all areas of legislation and policy concerning the electromobility market - New Mobility - all areas of legislation and policy concerning zero emission road transport, including alternative fuels and hydrogen mobility. - NZIA - all areas relate to the development of the EU global competitiveness and the CEE role in driving this process are also of great significance for PSNM. - Clean Industry Deal - a crucial act of law for all topics related to the development of the zero emission industry.
Communication Activities
The New Mobility Association (PSNM - Polskie Stowarzyszenie Nowej Mobilności) is the leading industry organization on the Polish market and to implement its key goal of developing the Polish electromobility sector the Association organizes and coordinates multiple events, workshops, press briefings and conferences. The strategic event, which also entails inspiring the discussion on the issues above, especially in the area of the European Green Deal and the Fit for 55 legislation proposal is the New Mobility Congress, which is an recurring annual event. During this event, panel discussions and discussion sessions are held with nearly 7500 stakeholders from the New Mobility sector regarding the issues above. PSNM also issues comments and remarks to Polish nationwide, industry and local media outlets, as an expert organization providing context and commentary for the most important aspects of EU legislation in the context of the challenges of the Polish electromobility market. Since 2016 PSNM published over 500 various reports and analyses, as well as implementing over 500 trainings. In regard to the EU legislation and policy and especially in the field of the Fit for 55 legislation package, PSNM is the secretariat organization and one of the leaders of the CEE Green Transport Initiative, an advocacy platform for stakeholders from the region to express the top priorities for developing electromobility in the region and addressing the problem of a two-speed development of electromobility in the European Union.
