Mission & Goals

The Policy Hub – Circularity for Apparel and Footwear is a pivotal force in the apparel and footwear sector, dedicated to advancing sustainable practices through the formulation of progressive policies. Launched in 2019, our network includes over 700 stakeholders across the global apparel and footwear value chain, including manufacturers, brands, retailers, service providers, and NGOs. We gather technical expertise and knowledge from members of our Founding Partners: Cascale, Global Fashion Agenda (GFA), and the Federation of the European Sporting Goods Industry (FESI), as well as from our Advisory Group: Textile Exchange, Social & Labor Convergence Program (SLCP), Fair Labor Association, Organic Cotton Accelerator (OCA), Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), Canopy, Global Organic Textile Standard (GOTS), and Fair Wear Foundation (FWF). By working closely with policymakers, the Policy Hub helps shape ambitious, yet practical, policies that address the future needs of textiles in Europe.
