Mission & Goals
PMU is the humanitarian and development organisation for the Swedish Pentecostal Churches. Since 1965 we have been collaobrating with the Swedish government/ Sida on development and humanitarian programs globally. Mainly Africa but also other countries. Our goals are to make sure that people in conflicted areas, as well as living in the poorest settings, globally get relevant and effective support to lift themselves out of our poverty and to a more safe and sustainable situation. Thematically PMU prioritize Peace work, gender equality work, environment engagements and moilization of Churches for development. We are also engaged in topics related to Freedom or Religion or Belives. PMU is representing Pentecostal Churches in the UN system.
