Mission & Goals
Plastic Energy is the world’s leading chemical recycling company with its technology HQ in central London and industrial plants in Almeria and Seville, Spain. The company also has two joint ventures in the Netherlands and France. The company is expanding globally and has a viable solution to the problem of plastic waste. With patented technology, Plastic Energy can transform end-of-life plastic waste destined for landfill or incineration into a recycled oil, TACOIL™, that is used as a feedstock for the production of recycled plastics, thus making the circular economy a reality. Plastic Energy focuses solely on plastic-to-plastic recycling.

Communication Activities
1) Plastic Energy has announced the development of projects across Europe with key strategic partners, including SABIC and Total 2) We are one of the few companies in Europe actively converting end-of-life plastic waste into an optimal feedstock to make new plastic (Plastic2Plastic). Strong collaboration with the value-chain has resulted in producing food-grade plastic packaging with recycled content from our chemical recycling plants. These are already sold on the European market (products from Unilever, Tesco, Mondelez, Mars) 3) We are signatory of the Ellen MacArthur Global Plastic Commitment, Circular Plastics Alliance, UK Plastics Pact, and the CleanTech for Europe scale up coalition. 4) We are an active and founding member of Chemical Recycling Europe.
