Mission & Goals
Pie is a digital tax free shopping platform allowing for stores and tourists to better handle tax free shopping. In addition, Pie drives additional value add through its merchant facing tools and tourist facing app interface.
EU Legislative Interests
We are interested in the Group on the Future of VAT and how to create a more simplified, streamlined, and digital tax free process for both retailers and tourists - how we can lower the burden that plagues tax free today. We are keen to follow the initiative taxud.c.1(2021)8213956, GFV No 110 and the planned upcoming proposal on the VAT rules that are applicable to travel and tourism sector (MSI/mve taxud.c.1(2022)7891268).
