Mission & Goals
Pannon Business Network (PBN), based in Hungary, is a leading centre for applied research and training that focuses on catalysing added-value manufacturing by bridging the gap between industry and academia. PBN's mission is to enable digital, sustainable, and resilient business transformations, leveraging its extensive experience and partnerships across Europe.. With over 500 international partners and involvement in 108 European projects, PBN is recognised as the No. 1 Digital Innovation Hub (DIH) in the EU by DIHNet in 2020. PBN focuses on digital transformation, providing digital applications and training to over 1,000 businesses and citizens annually. It specialises in technologies like augmented reality, AI, robotics, and digital twin platforms. PBN is also active in healthcare, particularly senior care digitalisation, and ecosystem development projects like Szombathely2030, working with universities, local governments, and industries to foster smart, sustainable cities
