Mission & Goals

MIFTAH is a veteran Palestinian NGO that has been active for over two decades. Domestically, we work on issues of democracy, good governance and social justice and to ensure civil rights and freedoms within the Palestinian political system are protected. We also work on empowering women and youth and including them in the decision-making process through elections by providing training and workshops while holding dialogue with national stakeholders and influencing various policies, like the election laws, across Palestine, both in the occupied West Bank including Jerusalem and Gaza. Internationally, our advocacy team disseminates the Palestinian narrative globally on various platforms, while giving Palestinian women and youth a platform.
