Mission & Goals
ORMAZABAL is the company specialized in the electrical sector with the commitment to innovation, it is among the top five world class manufacturers of products and solutions for the Medium Voltage electrical infrastructures. Its mission is to provide reliable solutions anywhere to its ability to predict the electrical sector needs and its commitment and close relationship with our stakeholders. ORMAZABAl is engaged in the definition, implementation and deployment of the coming new generation of the so called Smart Grids. The target of the inclusion of ORMAZABAL in the present list of interest representatives (lobbyists) is to engage with European institutions with a view to influencing policy formation and the decision-making process.
EU Legislative Interests
All relevant legislative initiatives affecting to the electricity industry and networks, in particular those related to the energy transition, Green deal, renewables, Smart-grids, Green mobility, storage, AMI, distribution automation, etc and any other connected with product policies and regulations, environmental policies, innovation policies, internal market, R&D, etc. Normativa de ecodiseño, normativa de gases fluorados, normativa de ajuste de carbono en frontera, net-Zero industry ACT, plan de acción de redes eléctricas, green deal, diseño del mercado eléctrico, códigos de red, PFAS issue, taxonomy regulation, AFIR, política de economía circular, corporate sustainability due diligence, critical raw materials ACT, digital product Passport, energy effficiency directive, green claims directive, industrial emissions directive, REACH, Grid package, industrial accelerator act y otros….
Communication Activities
All public activities related to the electricity industry. Again any activity connected with those ítems described in previous paragraph are of our interest. European Union Sustainable Energy Week, Grid Forum, Clean Energy Industrial Forum, EcoDesign Forum, and others....

ORMAZABAL is member of several electrical and electromechanical associations, federations and confederations both at local level (in several Member States) and at European level. As an example, ORMAZABAL is active member in AFBEL, CONFEMETAL, SERCOBE, AEDIVE, AEE, UNEF, Alianza NetZero Mar, Cluster Marítimo Español, Foro Marítimo Vasco, Cluster de Energía del País Vasco, AELEC, Fundación Empresa y Clima, UNE (Spain); ZVEI (Germany); GIMELEC (France), ANIMEE (Portugal). At EU level is also member of: T&D Europe, Orgalim, Wind Europe, Avere, EOPSA, Eurelecgric and Business Europe. The aim of ORMAZABAL membership in all those organizations is to collaborate in the impulse of the development of the present and future electrical infrastructures (i.e. Smart Grids)
