Mission & Goals
Orion is a globally operating Finnish pharmaceutical company. We develop, manufacture and market human and veterinary pharmaceuticals and active pharmaceutical ingredients. The core therapy areas of our pharmaceutical R&D are oncology and pain. Orion builds well-being by bringing to markets drugs and therapies from which patients get help for their illnesses. Orion has more than 3,600 employees around the world. Our products are sold in over one hundred countries. We collaborate closely with healthcare professionals and leading global research institutions and pharmaceutical companies.
EU Legislative Interests
Orion's goals related to representation of its interests are to: - actively participate in relevant social debate within the European Union and in our operating countries; and - ensure availability and the use of correct and up-to-date information in preparation of decisions and decision-making in the relevant EU policy areas. The main targeted EU legislative proposals and policies include: - Reform of the EU pharmaceutical legislation - Corporate sustainability and ESG related regulation - The European Green Deal
