Mission & Goals
Open Fiber, a wholesale-only operator on the Italian electronic communications infrastructure market, was founded to develop an ultra broadband (UBB) network consisting entirely of optical fiber (FTTH, Fiber To The Home, which is unparalleled in guaranteeing ultra-fast connections with extremely high levels of efficiency and reliability) in all Italian regions, in line with the most recent EU connectivity targets. Open Fiber boasts the most extensive Italian FTTH network with Gigabit connection speeds. As an infrastructure operator, we are involved in the development, management and maintenance of the network. We have chosen a “wholesale-only” business model to guarantee access to all interested operators, under the same conditions, and to provide users with a wide array of choice.
